Oι γνωστοί μας Radiohead μόλις κυκλοφόρησαν ένα stop-motion video για το “Burn the Witch” το οποίο θα είναι και το πρώτο single από τον επερχόμενο 9ο δίσκο τους. Η κυκλοφορία του έρχεται μετά τη σταδιακή εξαφάνιση του site της μπάντας που κανείς δεν πίστεψε, και το το βίντεο είναι σκηνοθετημένο από τον Chris Hopewell σε παραγωγή Jackknife και όπως θα δείτε έχει μια μάλλον ενδιαφέρουσα πλοκή:

To “Burn the Witch” θα είναι διαθέσιμο για πώληση από τις 00:01 της αυριανής 4ης Μαΐου και θα είναι το πρώτο κομμάτι που θα κυκλοφορήσουν οι Radiohead από τα Χριστούγεννα που μας πέρασαν.

Radiohead have released a stop-motion video for “Burn the Witch,” the lead single from their forthcoming ninth studio album. The video follows a series of teasers the band posted on Instagramfollowing the gradual disappearance of the band’s website and social media. (It also comes not long after Radiohead sent mysterious “Burn the Witch” flyers to fans.) Watch it below, and find the single artwork. “Burn the Witch” will be available for sale at 00:01 on May 4. The video was directed by Chris Hopewell, and produced by Jacknife. In it, the villagers of a small town accuse its citizens of committing various sins. At the end, a giant wooden statue is revealed—just like The Wicker Man—before it’s lit aflame.

“Burn the Witch” is Radiohead’s first new song to be released since last Christmas, when the band shared their unused submission for the James Bond soundtrack, “Spectre.”
