BAFTA 2024: Σαρωτικό το Oppenheimer στα μεγάλα βραβεία, νικήτρια η Emma Stone για το Poor Things

Ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος δεν ήταν υποψήφιος για σκηνοθεσία, λογικά οι Άγγλοι μισούν την Ελλάδα μας

Συνεχίζεται η μεγάλη πορεία προς τα Όσκαρ, φίλες και φίλοι, με το κινηματογραφικό και ελληνικό ενδιαφέρον να παραμένει στα ύψη καθώς περιμένουμε να δούμε αν το Poor Things του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου θα μας στείλει στον 7ο ουρανό και τα λοιπά και τα λοιπά και τα λοιπά.

Χτες είχαμε λοιπόν την απονομή των βραβείων BAFTA, γνωστών επίσης ως Βρετανικά Όσκαρ (φτωχός συγγενής stigmh), και ο κυρίαρχος του παιχνιδιού ήταν ο Christopher Nolan και το Oppenheimer, με την ταινία να κερδίζει 7 βραβεία, μεταξύ των οποίων και τα Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας, Α’ και Β’ Ανδρικού Ρόλου.

Δεύτερο στις προτιμήσεις της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου αποδείχτηκε το Poor Things με 5 βραβεία, ανάμεσα στα οποία και το Α’ Γυναικείου Ρόλου για την Emma Stone. Ας σημειωθεί πως ο Γιώργος Λάνθιμος δεν είχε καν υποψηφιότητα σκηνοθεσία, ίσως η πιο ανθελληνική πράξη Βρετανών μετά τα ελγίνεια μάρμαρα.

Κατά τ’ άλλα, αξίζει να σημειώσουμε πως χωρίς κανένα βραβείο έφυγαν το Barbie, το Saltburn, το Maestro και το Killers of the Flower Moon. Στην τοπ βρετανική στιγμή της τελετής, πάντως, ακούσαμε κι ένα live Murder on the Dancefloor από την Sophie Ellis-Bextor, για τους φίλους της 00s νοσταλγίας (και της Saltburn ανωμαλίας):
